In language arts we made bio poems and worked on our Lemonade War posters and flyers for our stands. We are trying to raise money for Kenya Connect by selling brownies, rice krispy treats, and cookie bars. We are also going to Skype around the world on Monday September 21.

In chapel the 5th graders chapel jobs are Gianna is the Crucifer, Sam is doing the Torch, Natalie is also doing the Torch, Sanai is the Prayer leader, Cora is the birthday helper, Brooke L is the bell ringer, and last the candle lighter is Peyton. Every week we alternate who is doing chapel in the 5th grade classes.

Nice job on the poems and posters. The chapel roles sound like fun, too, and I like that you alternate the roles.
