This week has been so exciting! We have been busy. This week in reading we have started our novels,
Call it Courage and
The Cay. On Wednesday was Spirit Day, so the whole school was wearing
red! Also on Wednesday, we met our book buddies for the first time! We went to the big church with them and had our regular chapel routine. Today we figured out that the "Who's in the Spotlight" was Lily Simpson. We also have a "Where in the World" board and that country was... Kazakhstan! In other news, on Tuesday Hillary Morris, Caleb Solomon, Shianne Chapman, and Stellan Heazlett had an "Out of This World Delicious" bake sale. They were selling cookie bars. On Friday, Macy Campbell, Laura Kim, Connor Schrott, and Alex Pavlov were selling brownies. Their theme was jungle.
